We’re excited to announce the release of the second edition of the National Guideline for the assessment and diagnosis of autism in Australia.

The Framework provides a consistent, evidence-based and culturally responsive approach for assessing, differentiating, and reporting children’s functional strengths and support needs.

It focuses on professional practice for those working with children aged 0-12 years and their families.

The new Guideline provides clear and consistent Recommendations and Practice Points for practitioners who deliver supports to autistic children and their families, to ensure they are doing so in ways that are effective, safe and desirable to children and their families.

This course is ideal for practitioners interested in implementing a best-practice, evidence-based approach within their clinical setting. A core element of the course is the integration of three in-depth Guideline in Practice case studies which all link back to the Guideline Recommendations and important community insights

The latest Participatory and Inclusive Autism Research Practice Guides are now available! The Guides contain an overview of important participatory research principles, concepts, and practices, followed by six focussed guides addressing both participatory and inclusive research.

Designed to equip and empower autistic people to self-advocate for themselves in the workplace, Self-Advocacy @   Work is the perfect example of ‘by us, for us’, with the voices, experiences and needs of the autistic community embedded throughout.

Career exploration and team collaboration is now even easier! New functionality includes a responsive goal builder that helps you get started on the career journey you want, and an enhanced Dashboard, connecting you with your nominated myWAY team. Our new domain name mywayemployability.au is a nod to the autistic people who co-designed this platform with us.
