The Autism CRC was established in March 2013 as a company limited by guarantee. The governance and management structure promote effective cooperation between our participants and end-users, which ensures translation-focused research and development.
We ensure this by:
- involving members of the autistic community throughout our research process.
- including significant industry representation and end-user representation on our Board and its committees, along with representatives from our research participants.
- involving end-users directly in our research and development as participants, enhancing project design and the applicability and uptake of outcomes.
- engaging our three Program Directors heavily with end-users and in the management of our activities.
