During this phase of 3 to 8 sessions (depending on students’ previous experience with LEGO® robotics), students form small teams, build their team’s LEGO® robot, and are introduced to basic programming skills. Students complete a combination of the following challenges, with a focus on particular teamwork skills relating to each challenge:
