Funding commitment for Autism CRC

Autism CRC welcomes today’s announcement by the Coalition, committing $1.3M funding that would enable us to support development of a National Autism Strategy.

An integrated national approach to practice, policy and services for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families – that is founded in evidence – is essential.

Over the life of our Cooperative Research Centre program, Autism CRC has demonstrated the benefit of co-ordinated national collaboration. Working together with all stakeholders, we have delivered national practice standards, supports and capacity-building resources for individuals, professionals and communities.

There remains much to do, together.

We look forward to the opportunity to work with government and all stakeholders in supporting a national strategy for the benefit of all Australians on the autism spectrum and their families.
