Help improve the opportunities and workplace outcomes of autistic adults
Autism CRC is looking for autistic employees and their employers, co-workers, supervisors, HR professionals and autism employment program executives across a variety of roles, industries and (in some studies) countries to contribute to our research by participating in one or more of the following studies around autism in the workplace.
Autistic people experience the lowest labour force participation rates when compared to any other group.
How you can be part of the solution
Autism CRC is currently conducting a range of research investigating:
- the challenges and most effective practices of employing autistic people from all perspectives (autistic employees co-workers, supervisors, HR professionals and autism employment program executives)
- the experiences of employers and co-workers of autistic employees
- the usability of a manual designed to help employees, managers, supervisors, mentors and human resources create inclusive workplaces

What is the survey about?
This survey investigates the challenges and most effective practices of employing autistic people.
Who can participate?
All autistic employees (whether employed through a designated autism employment program or not), their co-workers, supervisors, HR professionals and autism employment program executives in any industry and country are eligible to participate.

What is the survey about?
This survey is about understanding your experiences of having a person on the autism spectrum in your workplace and whether you have tried using any resources to help you understand or support people on the autism spectrum in the workplace.
Who can participate?
Anyone who has employed or worked with someone on the autism spectrum.

Review - Integrated Employment Success Tool (IEST)
What is the review about?
The Integrated Employment Success Tool™ for Adults on the Autism Spectrum (IEST) has been developed to help employers, managers, supervisors and mentors of autistic adults to create an inclusive workplace. We are now reviewing the manual before its final design, and would like to invite you to use it and provide us with your feedback. This will help us make it better.
Who can participate?
All employers of autistic people (whether employed through a designated autism employment program or not), HR professionals and autism employment program executives in any industry.

Why are these studies being conducted?
Finding from these various projects will benefit autistic adults who seek employment by identifying and developing recommendations for effective, sustainable, and scalable autism employment practices, models and resources that are both applicable to a wide range of organisations, and improve the opportunities and workplace outcomes of autistic adults.
